I know a guy who can build my motor cheap I want to know what you guys think I'll need to do. I don't want turbo.

a progressive controller, inline fuel pump and regulator, slicks and probably a 100hp shot

what parts of my motor I should build like should I concentrate on the head and bottom end or just the bottom end and how much $$ I'm lookin at

piston/rings and rods are all that you need internally. Your looking at $1000-1300 in parts, $500 to pull the engine and put it back in, $40-60 to bore the block and $150-400 to assemble your shortblock.
Unless you take it to a performance shop in which case you can double the figures and expect worse work (go to a joe smo engine rebuild shop that does rebuilds everyday. they aren't experimenting on your engine nor charging you for the extra week its gonna take a performance shop cause they dont know what the hell they are doing. there may be a few exceptions but not a whole lot).
