If I was to purchase the Star Stage 2 kit with just the E-trim, would it be possible to upgrade the turbo with the BB option later?

You can buy the ball bearing turbo later. Not sure if you can send your turbo to turbonetics and have them replace the center bearing housing with a ball bearing unit and rebalance the asssembly (read rebuild and add option). I dont see why this cant be done but I know I read a while ago that ballbearing turbos aren't rebuildable (this was an article on Turbonetics turbos when they introduced their ball bearing turbos). They may have just been talking about the center bearing section. One way or the other you can upgrade but it'll cost yah.

Thanks a lot for the info. I think I'm gonna go that route. I wanna spend the other $600 on cams, pulleys, and clutch. Thanks for your help. I'll probably end up getting the BB option a few months after I get my turbo installed anyway.
