42504, unaswered question Posted by Ludiclipse, Feb-07-02 01:02 PM
i have been reading these posts for like two hours. it seems 95 needs dry and later s need wet. somebody posted it was late 96 that the fuel system changes. does this mean that some 96s need wet and some need dry?

yes. i believe you need to see if your fuel filter is in front or in the back of the car. i think that will answer your question to which one you need. and i do believe that there are very few 96's that are the old fuel system setup

Fuel filter is on the firewall near the fuel rail on old fuel system.
Fuel filter is under the car in front of the back passenger wheel on the newer fuel system.

i'm not exactly positive on this one...but i believe if you take a look at your fuel rail, and there's a schrader valve at the end, you should go wet. correct me if i'm wrong, but i have a 96 and i went wet... there's nothing better in this world!
