42443, Direct Port Nitrous for a 98 420a?

I was wondering if we could do a direct port nitrous injection on the I-4? I have an avenger and I know the v-6 guys can do it. I'm not sure if it's possible on the 420a stock internals. I'm running a turbo now but I may have to get rid of it in the future because I really need the cash and NOS would definetly be a cheaper alternative. I know we can run a 50 shot wet but that's not direct port which is more efficient to my knowledge. It would also let me run a higher shot if it was possible. Any suggestions?

yes you can run direct port there are people here that are/have. You would want to upgrade internals though because you decide to do direct port it is usually a high shot like 80 and above... also the fuel pump must be upgraded. What shot you looking into running? If between 50-75 then wet would be more efficient... if ya wanna run more than look into a direct port.

I was thinking about running a wet setup on the stock internals. I cant upgrade the internals right now otherwise I wouldnt be looking into getting rid of my turbo. ;)(looking for a cheap alternative to extra HP)

We can run a 50 shot relativley safe right? Would I have to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors or can I just run the stock setup?

I know I saw a thread on here about the Venom system too. Has anyone heard if it's avaliable for our cars yet?

you can run up to a 75shot fine on all stock parts(i'd get an exhuast)... fuel pump is fine. anything over 80 you'd need a better pump. other then that our engines respond well to nitro.
