Dont know if this question is better suited for the nitrous guys or the engine guys, but I am in the process of ordering the howell engine kit with the 10.5/1 compression pistons at 20 over and milling the head 30 over wich will raise compression to right at 11.5 maybe even 12 to 1. My question, is 100 shot wet to strong for this, what would evry one recommend. Everyone I have asked so far says that the Eagle rods can take it.

i dont know about the compression end of things but with a built bottom end you shoud be more than able to handle a 100 shot. we can do up to a 75 shot on a stock bottom end so you should be more than able to handle 100...

You are talking about direct port right? If your running wet you don't want to go past 75shot.

Dry you can run a single jet with 100 shot as long as your injectors can hand the need of the nitrous.

Just make sure your fuel system (injectors, pump. etc..)is up to the task.

As for the high comp ratio. I don't think it would hurt with a built bottom end. You have to remember nitrous flashes to a gas and cools the intack charge (minimising detenation). You would only have to worry on hot days with nitrous off or bad gas:P
