This is my first post to your board. I really like it so far. I am an acitve mbr of Columbus Dsm in Columbus Ohio. I just installed a new nitrous system. Its a nos setup, 50 shot, enough to get me started. I did hook up the wot and i'm looking into a Msd rpm window switch. Had a few questions regarding that. I want to hook up both the wot and the switch so that it will not spray unless its at open throttle and between 3000 and 6800 rpm's...i have a manual tranny and i want to do the safest thing....has anyone on here used this set up? Also if anyone has the msd pills i am in the market to buy some....damn buying a whole packet of them for 45.00 when i only need two....great site guys...i'm looking forward to being active on this as well....later....

your cross checking the WOT with the rpm pill module. I dont think it would work. regardless of WOT or not, if you have the pill kit, your system wont kick in untill 3500 rpm, thereby negating the WOT switch. since your not really supposed to squeeze under 3000rpm anyway the pill kit might be a better way to go than WOT, but not both. just my $.02

I think it's a good idea. If it works post a wiring diagram. How much did you pay total for you "custom" set-up?

I agree, post a diagram seems like everones been haveing problems with the wireing. Why not bump the shot while your at it.

Mitsclps had that setup when he was using nitrous.... I have his old system and he is going to send me that rpm box.... but I cant wait so I went ahead and hooked up to a normal wot switch up.(so much for the relay controlled switches, sigh!)

The whole setup ran me 400...i got a autometer a/f guage, autometer nitrous gauge, 20 LB bottle, all the lines, new nozzle, new solenoids...best of all that included installation....we ran the lines under the car..its straight....can't wait to get on it.....Y2 eclipsed...did that setup work out ok for him....i'm not trying to have a blown engine....and if you have any extra pills i would be interested in buying them....get back to me....thanks...
