41914, Whoohooo I ordered my NX Kit!!!! Posted by Ed96GS, Apr-03-02 01:17 PM
Ok, i guess you guys could tell i am really excited. I ordered the complete NX wet kit for my 96 GS. The kit includes bottle heater, purge valve, and everything. I cant wait til it gets here, it should be here tommorow or Friday! Anyways now to my question. I am running stock plugs. This guy at NX told me that i should run one range colder, i am only going to run a 50 shot. Should i change the plugs or not. And also, should i get a fuel pressure regulator or i dont need one.
Thanks, Eddie

You won't need a fuel pressure regulator but go ahead and get one range colder plugs.

I wouldn't change anything with that small of a shot your stock plugs should be fine but if you want to play it on the safer side then go for it. Hope you got a GenX2 kit to go along with it. Have fun sprayin bro.

If you have basic mechanical knowledge then do it yourself... it's easy. Get NGK BKR7E-11 Plugs.

woohoo... another nx user hehe... hey I have the exact same kit and you can install it yourself it is really easy I didnt even look at the instructions... change the plugs colder if you want but to have to I did... gap them between 35-40 if you do.... I am sure you will have fun but I guarantee that you will be thirsting for more after the 50 shots.....

what is the kit #d, i was going to order nos from summit but all the kits conflict with each other, 5208 is what some people haave but is says that is for turbo, another add says 5122 but that is a dry kit.

I dont know exactly what kit number it is. I know for sure its not one of those 5**** numbers. The NX kit uses some other numbers. I just told the guy what car i have.

How much are plugs? My NGK plugs, eight of them, only cost me $22 including the shipping. I say $10 is a small price to pay for the peace of mind it will be giving you, man. Go ahead and get those plugs.
