41867, sorry.. but another question.. Posted by jasonhko, Apr-13-02 12:04 PM
okay.. this might be something really stupid.. but just poped into my head. I have seen in import tuning mags alot of cars with killer 15" subs in the trunk, along with single or sometimes double tanks of NOS. I was wondering if all that BASS from the speakers do anything to the NOS tanks?? I am thinking that all that vibration isn't good for the compressed gas in the tanks?? Is this correct or it doesn't make any difference?? Cause I have a big system in my trunk and am worried that the pressure of the bottle might be affected by the bass from the speakers.

It will not hurt anything just as long as you follow the directions when installing the kit and use Loc-tite Blue 242 on the fittings. As far as the gas, it'll be fine too. :)

thanks you guys.. I was just worried cause NOS is compressed gas.. and I remember from chem class that compressed gas canisters do not take well to vibrations. But since so many people have it done without any problems,... thanlks.
