i have a very slow leak in my system somewhere, slow enough i cant find it. Even though all install instrucions say no paste is needed on AN fittings, should i do it anyway when i go through and tighten everything?

dunno didnt use any on mine.... but I read a post a while back (still archives) that there was certain fittings you could put teflon past on and certain ones you could not... btw totally off subject but I was told that you once had a problem with breaking a bolt off inside the threads off of something in the engine bay.(doesnt matter what) but my question is how did you get that bolt off after breaking it? Cause I am in a similar situation and need to get the bolt out.

Loctite Blue 232 is what you need... get it at an auto parts store.

I used teflon paste on almost all my fittings. What you want to stay away from is teflon tape. The tape will not dissolve like the paste will if it gets inside the line. This will, in turn, clog your filters and silenoids. Using paste is ok. I would recommend it.

I would definately use the paste. stops leaks like its cool.
