sorry for such a newbie question. Today I installed a wet kit on my friends eclipse. He lost the relay and we could not hook up the electronics. We took the car for a spin around his neighborhood. When we got back we smelled fuel. There was a little bit of fuel neer the fuel soleniod. I tightend all the fittings are still could not find where it was coming from. Would not hooking up the electronics cause it to leak??

did you use teflon paste on your fittings?

did you tighten them down right?

I found where the leak was comming from. The hose from the fuel rail to the soleniod had a small hole in it. He replaced the line and now it works.
