I have a friend who is willing to sell me his profec A out of his car for 200 dollars, well this seems like a good deal because of the list price of like 550 bucks for those things. But I am getting mixed comments on it..some people say they spike really bad, some say get that avc-r...which I am sure is a nice controller, but I dont have that kind of money right now. Any input on your opinions, experience or any thing else with the Profec A would be greatly appreciated.

By they way, the car is running really strong on 6psi after the rebuild, however, I am still waiting on those injectors before i turn up the boost seroiusly.

Don't get it!!! I've heard they cause nothing but trouble. You have to program it and everything. You should get a manual and save yourself some money right now. Then when you have enough money for what you really want, then get it. You could get a manual boost controller for like 60 bucks!! Spend the rest of that 140 on something else:-)
