I was checking out the Venom 1000 for my 98 Talon, Im thinking of putting the juice to her instead of dropping $3000 for a turbo.
does anyone else have this one?
if so how was it to install?
Anyhere to get it less than the $700 Summit Raing wants?
Is this a wet or dry kit?

I have it and love it. It's really safe. The install took about 2 hours for everything. Not hard at all. I bought mine at www.coximport.com for $650 shipped. It's a dry system that pulses the injectors for more fuel. That is why we (96-99) can use this kit.

I've got it also, I love mine and wouldn't get rid of it. Well... maybe for a VCN-2000 I would, but get it and I promise you'll love it.

I heard that venom set the TPS sensor or something for the 4G63 motor and I have to send the venom computer back to get it set, is it true?

Yes that's true, you have to tell them to set it for the Neon 420A TPS reading.

Isnt there a place you can get them from that they already sent them in?

What if you order the system for the neon? Will that work?

I just received mine from them and the one they sent me was the N29-137. I called and asked them to make sure they sent me the correct one and this is supposed to be it. I'm going to put this in tomorrow so I have a few questions for you guys:
1: what plugs did you all use(brand and part number)
2: Where did you run the wires through the firewall, and did you use the grommet on the passengerside of the firewall.
3: Did you mount the computer module inside or outside of the passenger compartment.
4: Did you use the wiretaps that they supplied or did you go the safer route and soldered your connections.
5:Where/how far did you mount your jet from the throttle body(btw I have an Iceman intake).
6: What size/color jet are you using. I only want to go around 65hp since my car has alot of miles.
7: What gears do you normally squeeze in and it's anything above 3k rpm right?

I know this is alot but I'm just making sure I cover everything before I knock this out. I want it in but I also don't want it to look like someone threw a bowl of spaghetti under my hood either.

Oh, one more thing. Where did you mount your display/switch?
