I was reading through the FAQ in this site and it says that 96+ eclipses require a wet kit. I really don't believe this considering NOS sold me a dry kit for my 96 and it even says in there catalog that 96 requires a dry kit. Is NOS wrong or is 2GNT? One or the other should fix there info.

96 is when mitsu switched to obd2 fuel systems. There is a slim chance that you may have obd1 fuel system. Check and see where you fpr is located. If it is on the fuel rail then you can use a dry kit. if not then you need to get a wet kit.

The reason that 96+ cars need to use a wet kit is bc they do not use a vacuum operated fuel pressure regulator.

what he said, ^^^. If it has an fuel pressure regulator on the passenger side end of the fuel rail, it takes a dry kit, if it doesn't have the FPR it takes a wet kit.

I looked on the fuel rail and didn't see any FPR however I might have over looked it. Is it something that is obvious? What does it look like? Just in case I do have the OBD2 system what is the NOS kit that I would need? Thanks guys.

Even if you did have the 95 fuel system, which you don't, a Wet Kit is safer.

Get a wet kit, why would you not want a kit that sprays nitrous and fuel instead of just nitrous.
