40409, Compression Testing for Nitrous

Do you think I should compression test my engine before I put nitrous in it?

What numbers should I get?

I know my engine is in good condition, but it does have a good deal of miles on it ( 138,000 miles).

So is it wise running nitrous on a car with bad compression test numbers? (I'm not sure if I have good or bad though).

Thanks

170 to 225 psi, the numbers should be really close on all cylinders
