Did a compression check today at work. Very sad. 140, 100, 60, 145. There was tons of oil in the 2nd cylinder. I think it was just draining from the head though.
On a bighter note, I will be installing a set of JE or Wiseco lo-comp pistons in the next week or so. I will be using the stock rods becuse thats all I can afford right now. I will also be installing my cams, springs and retainers.

Go ahead and have your stock rods shot-peened if your gonna re-use em, shouldnt cost much at all and will help strengthen them a bit

UMM. . . So I guess datalogging it is outta the question. I think you might have had a pre existing condition that caused it to give so quick.
Call me tomorrow, I have to close on a house so I won't be able to head up there until the afternoon if you still need me to.

Place your bets!! I say cracked piston ring lands.. Sorry to hear bro, but if there is ANY way to get soem Eagle rods, i say go for it. You may be sorry later down the road. I know how the money issue is though :(
