396, Question about the VC1 Posted by Phat99Eclipse, Dec-22-00 02:03 PM
I ordered the VC1 from SplitSec and they sent it to me with a max value of 5v. I was reading the post about the voltages from Wyatt and he says he get less than 4.7v. Should I be sending the thing back for the right voltage, or will the 5v one work swith out causing fuel cut? The stage 2 is going in next week and I need to know ASAP. Thanks fellas...

It actually will clamp right at about 4.67v, they just call it a 5 volt VC1 becuase thats what it goes on, 5v MAP sensors. All the VC1's that people get are clamped the same, unless you directly specify a different voltage. Wyatt Leras http://www.turbogs.dsmpower.com 98 Eclipse GS Star Stage 5,000 Turbo kit

Thanks Wyatt. Did you get my email about the other question? I still have the Vortech FPR that comes with the Star Kit. Will I be able to move it to the engine bay and run a return fuel line or will I only be able to do this using an adjustable FMU? Thanks for the help...
