Here's a link to a previous post. It has the model number of the pump purchased, specifications of the pump, and installation instructions of what needs to be *slightly* modified to get the pump to fit.

ignore howell. i think that the stock fuel pump gets the job done but most people don't want to live with the agravating noise.

Haha..makes perfect sense coming from Howell. Pretty strange, lots of people on here use the GSX Walboro fuel pump, and it works fine. Just have to shorten the pickup tube a bit.

Yup, I added a Walbro 255lph HP for a 2G GS-T to my HRC setup, replacing the stock fuel pump. I had to cut 1/4" off the walbro, took about 10 seconds with a dremel. You are cutting off the pipe nipple, so it may be advisable to use screw-on hose clamps in place of the stock pinch style clamps. I just used the stock pinchy ones though, works beautifully.

- The "install kit" is completely unnecessary for 96-99 420a's. It's the o-ring, and fittings to go on the GS-T, we don't use them

- 1995 420a's DO use the SAME setup as a GS-T! They have the o-ring and all that, and no modification to anything is required.

This is a top-10 must have for HRC kits. The noise difference is very much worth it. Although... my manager rode in my car today and she said the car sounds like a loud lawnmower. x(
