A guy I know turned the intercooler around to fit our cars. Here are some pictures. Looks good.

Are you sure that what will ft on to the 420a? That looks like a 4G63 to me.

It is a 4g63. He just turned it around to show that it will work on the 420a. We need the pipes to go to the driver's side. That is what he did.

That's what he's saying. It's a 4G63 but it's turned the opposite way like the 420a would need.

corbin has the apex fmic but didn't turn it... there is also a few others that have the apex fmic but you need custom icp

also, didnt the early HRC kits come w/ the Apexi FMIC, i know glacius has an early-release HRC kit, and he also has the apexi fmic

The air could care less if you rotate the Apex FMIC. My one complaint is how low it has to hang. I've pushed it up as far as I can, but I can still scrape it now and then. I plan to re-pipe it one of these days to improve that.

YUM!! I love the Delta Face intercoolers!! A friend of mine has the Apexi Skyline intercooler with 3" endtanks on his GSX. It's the biggest damn intercooler I've ever seen on a street car!

i guess you haven't seen too many race intercoolers.... cause the indy and buschur race core are teh biggest around....

I guess YOU didn't hear me. I said it was the biggest intercooler I've ever seen on a STREET car. Show me a street car with the Buschur race core intercooler. I doubt you can because a 32.5" wide intercooler would restrict even a Fluidyne radiator too much to be street driven.

A friend of mine just bought an intercooler from IRC with a 27" wide core, but I haven't seen it yet and he's a long way from having his car ready for it.

It doesn't hang down past the stock front bumper, so clearance isn't a problem even though I'm lowered.

Yeah, the garage is trashed in that picture. We were right in the middle of building the car in that picture, so it was a mess. That's actually an inflatable swimming pool on top of the car! :P
