I like it. The price is reasonable. Plus, this guy even sells individual parts! It looks simple enough. Let us know how hard or easy it is to make this setup yourself.
Does the kit uses a solenoid to open the CO2 or is it a manual on/off? Just curious.

yeah man piece of cake, get some copper tubing and bend as in the picture and drill some holes through it, get a paintball canister and some valve to open it and your all set

i'm going to use all compression and pnenmatic fitting... they find a solenoid to turn on and off the c02 with a switch

just wondering if thats steel braided tubing...kind of looks clear in the picture..what is it made of and how durable is it??

is't copper tubing in one and alunium in the other... it will be durable

Co2 doesn't burn. Why spray something into the front of your car that, even though it will drop the IC temps, will remove burnable oxygen from your intake charge?
Use Nitrous Oxide. Same effect, but if you injest a little of it, so what? you'll just go FASTER.

That's a damn good point, but what if you have some kind of ignition source (such as flame burst from tailpipe)? Wouldn't that ignite the cloud of NO2?
I've never seen this system used, so excuse me if I sound like a jackass.

that's the point... you want to cool down a heat soaked intercooler.. nos is too expensice and you need a lic. to have it up here in ny/nj area. plus it won't do anything to intake charge. your not shooting it into the intercooler your just shooting the outside... it's proven that you'll get more of a hp gain using the co2 intercooler sprayer then using a nos sprayer and it is cheaper... c02 is colder which makes a big diff on those hot days and if you have a heat soaked intercooler....

I doubt the temperature difference is noticable at all.
..and i know that you're not spraying it into the intercooler, but onto the outside. I know how these systems work. All i'm saying is that you're going to end up flooding your engine bay with CO2, and CO2 will not aid in combustion. If you were to use N20, at least you'd be adding combustable oxygen to what could be your intake charge.
Also, as far as design goes, it's easier to make a system using nitrous oxide system accessories. I know someone with one of these systems on their car, and he found that the volume of n2o you need to move for the sprayer is enough to lock up a regular solenoid, but a remotve bottle valve works just fine. As well, regardless of what gas you use, to be track legal you'll have to have a blowdown tube and popoff valve for it, which NOS (as well as some other companies) make. I don't think you can find the same accessories for CO2 systems, but nitrous oxide system components may work just fine...
