39232, Posting HRC/Star Video Clips online for this site Posted by KidEvo, Feb-15-03 09:59 PM
I was at DSMtuners, and some people asked this dude to post a video clip of his HRC stage II setup while he was driving. He did this because they liked his Greddy type S bov mp3 clip alot. Even though the 2 mpegs were done in the rain, It definatly opened my eyes more to the whole turbo kit idea, and know Im for sure getting one. I just wish there were more clips from you guys that we can see. It would answer alot of questions people post about all the time, plus it was fun to watch. Then maybe we can open up a sticky/main section so that theyll always be on the site. So I think if you guys have time (and a videocamera) we should make more clips like these! :thumbsup So attention all turbokit owners: Darkone Ely1 Strauss Spicymitsu PwerEclipses Murix 992gnt Justone HadesOmega JasonES:T EclipseRST KTeclipse DSMroadster Pnoymahal, and anyone else I missed!:-)

Trust me, if it wasn't 20 below zero here every other day I'd have my car back together and you'd have plenty of footage from me :) I just got a new Sony camcorder and some digital editing software for my computer so I can get all my footage online. There will be plenty of vids this summer from me, I promise. Street races, drag racing at my track, burnouts, and all kinds of shit! I have never been more excited for an upcoming summer.....of course it helps that this summer I'll be running 16psi instead of ~11 }(

If my car didn't just get smashed by a truck, I'd have quit a few videos of a star kit ripping down the street.

Yay! :thumbsup
Check the vid clip Suieclipse (i think thats his name) put on Dsmtuners under the NT section. Why's his fuel pump so loud? Is that normal for HRC kits?

I got the HRC, and my pump is loud.. When my fuel pressure goes up the noise goes away. I dunno if this is normal or not. But ill be posting some videos as soon as the insurance company sends me a check for my stolen dvcam!

Yeah its normal. Too normal :rolleyes Anyways if you want it to go away, install a Walbro 255lph intank pump too. Also, insulate every part of your fuel pump, lines, and filter with rubber hose or plastic packing foam.

I have an HRC 2 but no vid camera. My digcam takes vids but with no sound. I made one recently of me doing a 0-60 run. I don't see me getting a vid cam soon. :wary But it does sound like a good idea.

I kinda like the sounds of the fuel pump...sounds high-tech. Imtimidates people...sounds like a jet..hehe. Besides, it isn't "unbearably' loud. Not mine at least.
