39197, possible fuel cut Posted by eclipsekaiser, Feb-15-03 12:19 AM
tonight while coming home from work, I decided to punch it a bit. While spooling, the car made a farting/stuttering sound. I immediately backed off.
What the hell was it? I'm guessing it was fuel cut...but at 5psi??? weird huh...
Current fuel system is RC 270cc, SFMU at 3.62" disk, with static at 55psi.
I will pull the missing link tomorrow and clean it out to see. Hopefully that wil solve my problem.
any ideas?

I had the exact same problem last week I checked everything and it was my missing link. the missing link needs to be at least serviced and checked every once and a while. what was happening to my mising link was that there was carbon build up, in the tiny pin hole where the map sensor reads vaccume so what I did was drill out the pin hole bigger so that it will not happen again I used the smallest drill bit i could find, no problem since
