Is there a way I can polish or at least take the rust color off of my manifold?? pics can be found here:

Don't waste your time polishing the exhaust manifold. The heat will tarnish it and light rust will buildup on it. Get it ceramic coated. They come in many different colors. HPC and Jetcoating are just a couple of places to check out. I've been quoted $85-$99 for the manifold.

I think the manifold looks best when it is glowing orange. I say drive it hard, pop the hood, and then enjoy. :D

Buy yourself a can of copper gasket spray. Its like 7 bucks it goes on copper but once you drive for a while turns dark grey and looks really nice.

Sandblast + 1500* BBQ paint = nice looking manifold.

I like the idea of hiding it....where did you get that heat shield?

RoadRace made it... but it's just thin stainless steel sheet. Easy to fabricate yourself. If you don't have access to a welder, just use a pop rivet gun. The turbine part is held on by 2 tabs that attach to the downpipe bolts. The manifold part is held on by 2 bolts screwed into 2 nuts that are spot welded to the manifold.

I'd pat for the sheetmetal design to hide it.....someone should make those...theres money to make there.

I know I'd be interested. I've got a nice clean engine bay and a nasty looking manifold.
