388, Steps to take Before,During, and After?

Hey guys,

I'm going to be getting on one of Wyatts next star kit group buys and was wondering what should I do to prepare my car to run on boost. I have a 97 eclipse RS and the fuel system is completely stock no internal mods just bolt-ons i.e. Greddy cat,
header, Iceman CAI. What would be the next route to take?
Are bigger injectors a must with the star kit? I have seen the comparisons on both turbo kits (HRC & Star) and both are said to run on stock internals but On the message boards everyone is beefing up their fuel system, whats the deal? Sorry about the length and thanks in advance for any replies!

dsm1 :

your questions basically pertain to how much boost you want to run. My suggestion would be get the turbo installed. Run about 5-6psi. and see how satisfied you are with that.
I believe the star kit comes with a fuel pump and an fmu, so those two would be your fuel system upgrades.
You should be okay up to abou 9psi with the stuff that you get from star / hrc !
