38625, fuel rail test port.. Posted by roy, Feb-05-03 11:14 AM
ok, I know I need a -4AN fitting to attach a hose to the test port on my fuel rail, but how exactly do I remove that little valve from the test port?
I'm going to install the SFMU soon and i'm trying to figure out which fittings/hoses to order.. also can anyone recommend any places to order these parts from?

to remove the thing at the end of the fuel rail, you will need a Schrider (think that's how you spell it) check valve removal tool. they're avaiable at any hardware/bicycle store, it's a tool that takes out the little valve that you push and air comes out found in bicycle tires.
you'll need some sort of <-6AN>-------<-4AN> line to go from the S-FMU to the fuel line. Vortech sells an adaptor kit for $10, i think summitracing does too, but the last time i checked summit was out of stock on them.
