today i got a ton of crazy shit in the mail. (ARP head studs, S-FMU, BG Synchroshift fluid) i decided to calibrate it with the 2.72" disc, that's the 3:1, right?

the rings that came with it were kind of drunk. some of them fit perfectly inside of the other, but the 2.72" disk didn't have a perfectly fitting ring, so i faked it. do you guys think this is acceptable?



i also took a really funny movie of me making fun of the CrapTech FPR that comes with the Hahn kit. it's REALLY good. my friend T was taping and i was making fun of it.

Hey can you use stock injectors with the Vortech S-FMU? Like will they work fine together?

yeah, but you need to recalibrate (use different rings/discs) the S-FMU to a rising rate that you need. for stock injectors, i think a 12:1 rising rate is needed, but i'm looking for something about 3:1 because i'm using injectors almost twice as large as stock so i invested in a S-FMU.

Yes, the 2.72" ring will have about a 1/8 to 1/4" gap around the disk. I questioned that also, but Vortech themselves say thats the way it is supposed to be. I currently run that disk and it works great.

I plan on getting either 310cc or 335 injectors and running stage 2 tubo at about 8 psi, what disk sould i plan on using to run everything good, i will also have a walbro 255lph inline fuel pump. Is there anything else i will need as far as fuel setup to run 8psi solid, good. any help would be appreciated.

Can you control the setting from inside the car or do you still have to adjust it under the hood?
