I'm looking at the Stage 1, im thinking the differences between 1 and 2 is the IC. Now is it worth getting the stage 2 for the ic or am i better off buying one on my own?

You can get a nice FMIC for the extra money you would spend on the stage 2. I say save the stage 2 money (side mount stage 2) and get a FMIC.

Well, you can get whatever damn intercooler you want out there, as long as you can make it work. That involves getting it bolted to the car underneath the front bumper, and then making custom piping and rigging the BOV onto the piping somehow. If you know how to do this stuff, or know of someone who could help you that knows what the hell they are doing, then I say go the custom route. It will probably end up being cheaper in the end, depending on what intercooler you buy and such. But if you are like me, and have no reputable shops in your area, and are lazy and would rather just bolt something up that will work right outta the box, get the Haun stage 2 with their front mount option. It's one of the best intercoolers out there, just might cost ya a bit more :)

u can use any intercooler u want, C&R , indy, greddy,HKS, etc...

the 2g and 1g side moutns are nice little pieces that are real cheap...

well ive been juggling the two in my head for a while. hrc stage 2 with fmic or smic. i have finally decided on smic. 400 cheaper just gets my vote right there. i know it may help to cool a little better but from what ive heard (i actually think i saw someone post it on this site) the smic is better for stage 2. faster spool up time or something like that and with the power u will be makin fmic is a waste of money. i may be wrong and correct me if i am, but it is final, im going with hrc stage 2 with smic. just gotta sell these damn wheels and tires. check out my ad in classifieds. :thumbsup

I did the stage 2 purchase cause I wanted everything to go on my car in one weekend... I didn't want to have to worry about how I am going to get to work on Monday when the IC pipe still needed fab'in.
But it is entirely up to you.. I think that it is worth the money for a stage 2 cause you get all the pretty pipes with the flange for the BOV on there, and you know that IT will work the first time... No fab time is money in the pocket to me!
