i have a 98 gs, auto (if that make a difference). where is the oil sending unit? please explain it to me like a 4 year old. i have read the hrc instructions but can i see it looking over the engine bay? is it between the side of the where the firewall is and the rear of the engine bay? that means i can only see it by looking under the engine.

oil pressure sending unit is on the back of the block, (firewall side) on the driver side of the block. Its right below where the cylinder head bolts to the block in a way. It will have a wiring harness plugged into it, and its the far most unit that goes into the block, as there are a few sending units back there. Just find the one that is the closest to the driver side of the back of the block. Its easiest to get at from underneath the car..

The harness plugging into the oil sending unit is bright green. have an oil sending socket remover or be ready to cuss.
