Nothing really.. it's a good core, just not good endtanks. it's not the not efficient design, but it does its job well. I've never had any complaint about it other than the endtanks.

The endtanks aren't that efficient like he said. Just look at the design and imagine the flow.

i see what your saying but is it ok or is it owrth it to save up and get a new fmic?iam rebuilding right now and plan on some hight psi in the futre i just bought a star fmic form a freind for 300?what should i do?

Chris, just have bigger end tanks welded on. I might be able to get you some from HKS.

not even necessarily bigger - just better laid out. Instead of sharp angles and hard 90* turns, think of smooth transitions. Airflow does not like rapid direction changes.
