I need a new one to fix my overheating problem from last summer. I'm putting the howell 2.2L in and I want something better than stock if it exists. If there is not a "performance" pump then who makes a good aftermarket one? or should I go with the stocker?

i bet the stocker is good enough. if you're still having overheating problems, you could get a nice fluydine and a low temperature thermostat - that would probably fix the problem better than just pumping around the water faster.

No the overheating is because the water pump is weeping through the weep hole, that means it's going bad. I already have a 160 degree thermostat, and a GST rad cap. If the new pump doesn't fix the problem I'm going to be seriously pissed off, and then I'll buy the fluidine.
