Im putting in my HRC stage 1 soon, and the only thing holding me back is that i have to replace my Head Gasget. So i was thinking about swapping the cams and maybe cam gears at the same time. Does anyone on the board have 420a turbo cams?? If so, are they worth the money? And at 5psi, will they give me much hp?? If they suck, or wouldnt do much for me, would cam gears help me out. TIA

just my 2 cents, if i was upgrading my cams or cam gears, i would wait till u change ur timing belt and even if u wanna get that udp u keep asking me about.:7 :rolleyes

He'll be fine at 5psi. If the timing advances too much, get an ignition system and retard the timing.

Turbo cams will definetly help, spoolup will be fast. In the higher stages, they're good for 30-50+ HP. }(

Yeah, the car runs much faster off boost and once you hit boost you can pull the timing with an ignition and you'll be fine. We've discussed this before, read back a week or two.
