I am having 2.5" High Quality Mandrel Bent Aluminized Downpipes made for the 2gnt's with the Hahnracecraft Turbo. They will have factory like flex section, o2 housing, and brackets. SICK! it's about time - i've dealt with a dented downpipe (previous owner ran over a stop sign, don't ask) since i got the car over a year and a half ago and have been itching to find a new one, but i don't want to deal with custom piping. i'm also not a big fan of the clamp on downpipe that comes with the hahn kit. (exhaust leaks galore unless you braze it like i did) maybe this competition will start ERT to get on their feet and actually finish their deveopment for their HRC downpipe causing pricing for both products to drop...

...speaking of which, how much is the downpipe? i'm definately interested.

Well, maybe if someone w/ a HRC kit would actually GO TO ERT so it can be made in the first place.

Steve owns a v6 avenger, he doesnt have a hrc equipped 420a at his dispossal...

hey, if ERT was based in massachusetts i'd take one for the team and enroll my car with broken piston ring landings in their beta test guinea pig/victim/whatever program any day.

Hes got some neat stuff in the works, and the v6 turbo kit is a beautiful piece of artwork

better be titanium for 350, here in va, i can get custom dp all day "race quality " for 180, providing you have your own flange. and those arent but 25 bux. and thats 3inches. if i had him make 10 of them, he proably wouldnt charge but 100 a peice, if not cheaper. 350 for a 2.5 dp is really steep.

Once again something comes along to late, I already had one of my buddys weld some 2.5" piping onto the end of the HRC DP and then run it staright back and eliminated the cat in the process, whole job including flex section and O2 bung ran me 80 bucks and it's all mandrel bent...:)
Only thing I lose is the small section from the HRC pipe isn;t 2.5" but the rest is....

They are made by Kooks Custom Headers they are 2 Piece, 16 Gauge Aluminized Steel (Aluminum Coating), Mandrel bent, 3/8" Flanges, Stainless Steel Flex Section. High Quality Gaskets will be included.
