On my way to and from lunch, I would put it into 2nd and punch it. It would run up to 4-5psi fine, but then somewhere above that, it would just quit almost like a fuel cut feeling. Then I'd hit it again and it'd be fine. I was only able to reproduce it once after the 1st time. All the gauges seem to be perfect. I looked under the hood and didn't see anything noticeable. It's not leaking oil or anything. I've put over 40K miles on it with this setup and this is the first time anything like this has happened, so I have my doubts its fuel cut. BTW, I'm running the star FCD. My guess is that a connector is split somewhere, but it doesn't make sense that other times it runs up to 8psi fine. I'm set at ~7-8psi. I know the clutch is going, but I'm pretty sure it's not that either(different feeling). Setup listed below.

Could be fuel cut, it's cold as hell here (10 degrees this morning). Definately check the fcd though, mine ran good without one up into boost but only so far.

I would check if I knew how. I don't think that's the problem b/c it's run this far w/o electronics problems. But, I'll check it regardless. It's easier to rule it out by knowing rather than by guessing. How exactly would I test the FCD? I had a faulty one to begin with (I used a power supply and voltmeter here at work to test it before it was attached to the car). Now that it's installed, I don't know of any way to test it.

Borrow the volt meter, hook it to the leads of the fcd and bring the meter into pass. window. Have someone watch the voltage while under boost. I don't remember what the max voltage you should see is (4.5 maybe?), but if it exceeds 4.8 or 5.0 volts it's not clamping properly. If that's what it is, buy the Missing Link.
