Ever since the engine rebuild, I've ad this tiny annoying oil leak.

Intially I thought it was the Perma cool Cooler, after removal, the leak was still there.

While removing the cooler, I noticed the oil sender T was extremely loose. Ripped everything apart, teflon paste, and re-attach.

Yesterday after work I drove home, and sure enough the leak was still there. I'm assuming it can be the residual oil left in the outer grooves of the oil filter. I will keep driving in a few days to see if the leak is still there.

Jamesman said that it is not likely that the oil pump is the culprit.
And points in the direction of the junction between oil filter block to engine block, or possibly the oil pan.

I'll keep on driving to see if the problem is still there and will address it in a few days.

Just FMI, what else can possible leak in the back of the engine block?

Could be the oil pressure sensor. Mine has been leaking ever since I took off my POS turbo kit.

if you and I are talkign abotu the same thing, then I re tefloned the oil pressure sensor back into the union-T that feed oil to turbo.

I'm pretty sure it is not that. Could be the oil flilter block. I will tear it down tomorrow and seal it with RTV to see.

thanx for your reply though. Anyone else? anythign on the back of the engine block that can potentially cause a leak?
