I mounted mine in the passenger compartment behind the radio in that space right up near the firewall. the 2 shifter cables pass over the unit and hold it in place. only thing though is that it makes this ticking noise from its electronics so you can hear it, but you get used to it after a while

I mounted my Crane in the passenger side kick panel (towards the center console, against the floor and firewall). I used to have it mounted in the engine bay, but I think the heat interferes with its performance a little.

Under the passenger seat. It is easy to change the dipswitches by just reaching over and the settings are labeled in the glove compartment so that just pops open to read.

i removed the airbox metal bracket and installed mine vertically beside the ecu.

works great and stays dry and cool
