I am starting to shop for the best prices on the upcoming head rebuild, ss valves, lifters, cams...

I was just curious of other people’s opinions on aftermarket cams. Basically are they worth it for a street/strip car? I was looking at the Crane #12-14's and really wasn’t too sure about it being worth the money.

What are your opinions???

Haha! We're on the same page. I'm getting the 20g upgrade and thinking hard about the cams. Len said they made a big difference on his car, but had no solid numbers to give me. I may get them just because they're supposed to help the turbo spool, and I'll need that with the 20g. They're on sale at HRC for $339 or something.

they make a good gain if u are above 10 psi armond got 40-50hp or so with i think

ive hear nothing but good things about them, big gains, exspecially if your stroking your motor... :)
