just to add to this, i have a few questions for you guys also.
do you regret having spent the money for what you got out of it?
worth the aggrivation?
and if you could do it again and buy a car with a good amount of power would you have instead of going the route you did? :)

I'm actually a stage 2.5, but if I can do it all over again , I would have a gotten a motorcycle (P-I-M-P). Too much aggravation. With great power, comes great responsibility.(Sorry, I couldn't resist saying that line).

Tuning is a bitch but that pretty much goes for any car. As far as money spent it is/was all spent because I enjoy working w/ my car. I think it is more enjoyable to work on a car such as a 2gnt rather than an awd 2g. To me it is much more rewarding to meat or beat those guys w/ a car that started out w/ so much less. But no matter what car I own I will always sink money into it, always.

I drive my stage 4 every day and I boost it hard every day. Compared to stock or NA apps stage 4 is well worth the money. I drove around w/ a vac/boost gauge hooked up way before I had a turbo and going from a WOT and a 0psi reading to a WOT and 20+psi reading is worth it. If you ever need convincing come by Denver sometime and I will give you a ride in a VERY heavily moded stage 4 turbo 2gnt. You will want a turbo and if you have a turbo you will want more boost.

The s16g isn’t going to cut it anymore for me though. I am going to a custom setup w/ the fp green or Red. :-)

Some days are better than others. Right now, I haven't had my car for over a month. It's at the body shop getting the paint touched up. I miss driving it badly! The guys at the body shop are scared to drive it. The clutch grabs hard, and there is virtually no traction until 3rd gear if you drive it hard.

I'm with Brian though, the s16g isn't cutting it any more. Power falls off too much on the big end. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Can't decide on my next car though. EVO, Supra, Skyline, or something along those lines. Has to be turbo. :D

reason i ask because in a previous post, i saw super20g's car with a stage 5 and it kinda blows my mind. i doubt i'll ever go higher then a stage 2. i'm just building up money for a stage 1 with great drivability with strong forged internals. its mostly because i want more power without letting go of my eclipse. god i don't even race but i do like working on my car.

how much is stage 5 anyway with hp and torque? what are you times and what cars have you taken down.

I can't get anyone to race me :( Best time to date is in my sig and there's another 4 or 5 tenths in there if I can learn how to drive it. Mid - low 12's shouldn't be a big deal with the 20g (Stage 5) upgrade.
