36483, Too much fuel consumption Posted by Jasvb TS2K2, Dec-27-02 07:18 AM
I'm only getting about 200 miles to a full tank. :o . I got a O2 CEL code but was wondering if perhaps something else could cause me to be wasting so much fuel?

Yeah thats really low milage. Replace your front o2 sensor. I get over 320 miles to a tank - with the 60mm Jeep TB.

I've got terrible gas mileage I get about 190 ish on a full tank. I boost at 8lbs daily at times I'll just go to 5lbs. I still have an exhaust leak at the downpipe I've been lookng for a replacement downpipe for the Hahns kit but I can't find one anywhere looked on RRE's web site I found the downpipes I just don't know which would work. I also have oil coming out of my breather. I guess my o2 sensor would be the cause of the low gas mileage. Where do I get a new sensor?

Your local parts store will have the o2 sensor.. Look at spending around $100 for it.
When I changed mine, AutoZone didn't have a different part number for the Turbo and Non-Turbo models, I ended up having him look up the 4cyl Avenger.... Just a heads up incase. you need the circular connection, the 4g63 is a square connection.

call bob kise at forum dodge and get the mopar one, the Bosch universal ones SUCK, I mean they go bad after 3 months due to poor design and getting clogged with carbon buildup etc..
He gives us great discounts on OEM parts.
