36099, HRC stage one kit / make $$$

Hey guys I got a stage one HRC kit and it's been sitting in my garage for 2 months for reasons too long to discuss. Anyway, I know there's got to be some New Jersey guys out there that did their own install.

If you live anywhere in NJ (I am in South Brunswick, NJ zip:08824) and are willing to help a fellow 2GNTer out, email me or reply. I want someone to really help me out and be a watchful eye. I want to be involved with the install because I want to be able to diagnose problems should they (actually... when they :) ) arise!!

I was going to have a shop do it but I changed my mind for the reason above. I AM WILLING TO PAY someone to help out. I was thinking of getting this done over two to three weekends or so. CONTACT ME IF INTERESTED. If any of you guys were saving for a rebuild or something, you can use the money I'll give you towards it. I was thinking a COUPLE HUNDRED maybe??? What do you guys feel is fair????

email: bigpoppapump1173@hotmail.com and we can work it out. I am willing to pay someone mainly because I want to learn from the install and at the same time not take 3 months by myself.

Since the holidays are approaching in a week, I guess I'm looking to do it in early January.

I also got the goodies like the S-MU and mising link, etc... Thanks so much guys!!!! :)

Fly me out there and I'll do it for free.

Dino made a similar offer once but I dunno if it's valid in Jersey ;)

But yeah, don't have a shop do it, it's too easy.

That's good to hear. I am definitely going to do this, the only problem is that I really want to do this right. That's why I really want a perosn to help out and just keep an eye on me and make the process quicker. If I try to take the time to do it myself I will take tooooo long.

ANYONE OUT there in NJ please help a 2GNTer out!! It will actually only probably take a weekend to do. Thanks guys.

PS - thedawg: I guess it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to fly you here to NJ if you were really serious and get it done over a weekend. But I don't know how much the ticket would cost.

Plus... another problem is my damn parents. I had the money to buy this damn turbo and they tried to talk me out of it, so I know there is no way they'll let you stay over. DAMN PARENTS!! :rolleyes Anyway, if the tickets are the right price, you'd be willing to spend the night in a hotel or something, and you are serious, I suppose it could be done. It's up to you. Just contact me about it.

Hey,

I'm in Newark, Delaware. If you want, i can oversee and help you out to make sure you install it right. I've done about 5 turbo installs (stages 1 and 2) including my own. Dodge Avengers, Chrysler Sebring, and eclipses.

My only catch is that i cannot stay overnight (sorry wife would shoot me!), and i can only help you out on the weekends. Also depends on how far you are from me...

Give me a listing of everything you want installed (i.e. what stage turbo, fmic or smic or none, what gauges, etc etc etc) and i can give you an idea of how long it takes ME to install it all if only I am doing the work. That will give you some idea of the best case scenario of how long it would take to install it. Then give it a few more hours if you have never installed a kit....

Let me know. Email me or talk to me on AIM if you need more info. Oh yeah i can provide you some references of folks i've done turbo installs for and you can get an idea of my work.
