dont we have 24# injectors stock and if your not upgrading to a stage two why upgrade injectors?

Ya what is the point of 24lb injectors. They are only 252cc. Our stockers are 235cc.

If you plan to stay stage I for a year or two, then don't worry about injectors. Stockers will work fine with a stage I HRC (80-90 psi for 6 psi boost). You don't really even need the inline pump at stage I HRC. You can get by with a in-tank Walbro 255 HP. All you need is a FPR that holds its settings (S-FMU).

If you do buy a S-FMU and really want injectors, then you might as well get the 30# ones to prepare for the future.

Yeah like I said bro you don't "need" them. They are an extra thing. i would wait till you get upgraded.

I really wouldn't sweat it until you plan to hit 9 psi. Then, get some 24's or 30's. My car ran very well with the S-FMU and stock injs at 6 psi. It is very easy to set up and tune (just follow the HRC recommended fuel pressures). When you use bigger injectors, you have to come up with new fuel pressures. If you are new to the fuel scene, it can be tough tuning the car from scratch. So, I'd say not to worry about injectors until you raise the boost (and demands on injectors).

But, I'm one to talk. I once had 440's, S-FMU, and S-AFC (now 8 252's) and I still only run 6 psi. I always explain it like I'm preparing for the new engine (which I hope to have in a couple months).

Nothing says you have to spend the $100 plus dollars on new injectors, but for that small amount, I still think it is a good idea.

This might be more of a concern with a Star kit using a high flow in tank pump and big turbo. The inline pump seems to do very well with the HRC 16G system. The fuel requirements are not as demanding running the same boost setting.

You have all the info you need......time for you to decide what is right for you.
