ok so i'm poor and here to save money. so is the apexi with its features able to show a&f readings while your driving. i don't care about the o2 guage but is the apexi tt a good A&F guage. should i get that as my a&f or the jumptronix?

Well you would still buy a turbo timer either way correct? I don't know how much the jumptronix is but the apexi with harness cost me about $115 and I bought it right after it came out. The price should have come down at least a little since april. It will prolly be cheaper to just get one unit than 2. A jumptronix is back orderd and like $89 at roadrace, plus a $89-$99 Turbo timer. That's way more than the Apexi I know you can find it somewhere for $80-$100 VS. the $200 going the other way. When your driving it's an O2 voltage meter (you said you would rather have the A/F ratio though right,...well it display's it that way too. (you really should use the O2 voltage though it's eaiser, you just look for the right number.) They both hook up to the same wire on the ECU so they are both equaly as accurate and have the same # of decimal points to measure with. I say just get the apexi it's cheaper and has more features than the other combo approach. It has a voltmeter too btw... (Steps off of soap box wishing apexi would see this and throw some cash his way) They don't pay me though it's just a great product.

if you dont got alot of money and wont really wanna know the digital a/f reading get the apexi. the jumptronix a/f is a digital read out to the point for full th point, unlike the apexi is which for like street etc use.. lets just put it as this, if your going to tune your car or want to know exactly the a/f reading when racing get the jumptronix.. overall getting each separate is going to cost a bit more but thats what i got, and some other prefer also.

The Apexi gives you the same reading as the jumptronix. They both measure two the tenths:

The Jumptronix Air Fuel Ratio Meter (AFM) allows you to accurately monitor your fuel ratio via the oxygen sensor output sent to the ECU. Unlike other meters which use a bar graph format with a 0.1v resolution, this unit uses a numeric display with a 0.01v resolution so you precisely know your oxygen sensor voltage. Essential information if you want to tune your car for that extra bit of performance since the difference of 0.1v could mean the difference between winning the race or buying a new engine

The apexi measures to the same 0.01v and you can mount it on the steering wheel as above and look at it while racing driving whatever. Trust me it's the exact same thing measure wise you just get it all in one unit because the Apexi has the batt voltage as well. Trust me save your money and get the apexi.

i just bought the APEXi TT today at RRE for $110 & it came with a GReddy TT harness to make installation easier. i bought it to save soem $$$ down the road.

I think the Jumptronix unit has proven to be a very reliable a/f meter, but I think the new Apexi TT is probably one of the best alternatives. I really like the Apexi unit myself--for all its features and for the price.

The A'pexi auto timer's a/f and 02 sensor voltage reading is the same as any A/F gauge (Jumptronix included).
