are 30lb / 315cc (or is it 310cc?) fuel injectors a good idea for a star stage 2 setup? this can ran with stock ecu and NO safc right? do 2gnt's use high impedance injectors? will this setup make me run too rich? tia.

If you use the disk that came w/ the Star kit then you'll be too rich. It's like 12:1 isn't it? We use saturated injectors and 30# injectors (at least Mustang ones) are red topped.

what size disk should i use with it?

injector LB x 10.5 = size in CC
24LB x 10.5 = 252cc
30LB x 10.5 = 315cc
36LB x 10.5 = 378cc
42LB x 10.5 = 441cc
48LB x 10.5 = 504cc
Most people round off injector size in CC. 440cc injector are actually 441cc in size. 500cc injectors are actually 504cc in size.
injector CC size, divided by 10.5 = injector LB size
504 / 10.5 = 49LB
We use saturated, high impedence, bosch type injectors.

If you are stage 1 running 6 psi boost, 6:1 disc/ring might be enough fuel pressure. I run (with front mount intercooler) the 8:1 disc/ring and boost 9 psi in the hot ass summer, 10 psi in the cooler fall/spring and 11 psi in the cold ass winter. Just keep your egt from going over 1600F at redline and you will be fine.

Lets get this straight. You will not be upgrading your STOCK injectors till spring. Then you need to leave the 12:1 disc in place. This is the one already installed in your fmu.
Or if you are saying that you will not upgrade the 30LB injectors to something larger till spring. The do what I said in the post above.
If you are stage 1, you need to limit yourself to 6 psi. You can help yourself out by using a cold air intake on your turbo. Just make sure it is not too low and gets wet everytime it rains. Not good for the turbo.

sorry for confusion. right now i only have stock injectors and star stage 1. but when i upgrade to stage II, i will also upgrade the stock injectors. i was under the assumption from your posts that i would be safe with a stage II setup, 8:1 disk, and 30lb injectors. also, u said u run the 8:1 disk with stage II setup, but what size injectors do you have and are u boosting on a stock bottom end?
