Has anyone heard of Ross pistons mass producing pistons/rings for 2gnt's? I have heard of Ross and know they are good quality, but i just didn't know about the 2gnt applications. Can anyone rummage up a part number?

Hey Sean... they're not listed on the website (rosspistons.com) but I would try calling them at the tech line, 310-536-0100. If you come up with anything let us know bro!

The reason is, there is a guy on the net selling some for a good deal. I just want to make sure they are for the 420a and not the 4G63. Thanks. -Sean

Can you get the specs from him? All pistons will come with a specs sheet. If you can find that out, I can tell you if they're for the 420A or 4G63.

I checked into Ross pistons before my rebuild and they told me I'd have to get at least 8 pistons, maybe that's why this guy is selling. He may have had a custom order and now he's selling the other set. How much is he asking?

On a side note- I'm looking for .040 oversized pistons... know where I can find some without ordering a custom batch?

These are .020 overbore. 9.1:1 compression ratio. They must be a custom batch. Hit me up with an email- williamschn@aol.com. I need a website. O, he's asking $400.

ross is great stuff, remember our bore is the same as most of the chryslers in the past t2 2.4litres etc, so alot of different pistons work in our cars... unless there is a wrist pin change,

Yes stan has 10.5:1 compression Ross Pistons. He's had them for a while now too. Like 2 years or more.
