Is everyone else getting a little oil blow by out the crank case beather when under boost too? Acually I kinda get alot...sorta. What exacully causes Blow By? Is it air going down threw and by the rings twords the rods and pressureizing the oil pan or something?

Well in my case, my oil blow by was due to blown ring. Check you compresion! Blow by is normal, but not "a lot". I lost a half quart of oil all in two or three times of boosting.

I get ZERO oil coming out of the crank case breather filter... Could something be wrong with my car? Since MWC said it was normal for "some"...

Bro, dont worry if you have none, I was just saying that "some" have it and some dont. The reasons could be anywhere from some boosting higher than other causeing more preasure in the crank case and others just having some minor blow by. No biggie, so long as you are not loseing amounts that can be measured. :)
As far as your compresion figs Greg, they sound great! By a catch can or make one and you will be fine.

I had some detonation down under due to a loose fuel hose, and let me tell ya when the detonation hit there was oil dripping off my breather and I had oil all over my I.C. piping....smoke was everywhere during boost and at idel. However, before I had the detonation I never had any smoke that I could see.

Blow-by is somewhat of a "normal" thing. Heavy cornering and "spirited" driving will help oil spurt out the valve cover. Now what do you do with that oil is the important question.

Here's some advice (based on my experience)
First and foremost, Don't vent your valve cover to the atmosphere without some sort of "breather filter setup". Under vacuum the engine may suck air back into the valve cover, and well you want it to be clean air.

Don't JUST have breather. If blow-by occurs you will dirty alot of your engine bay. Some people may not care about looks, but it also affects perfromance... My oil spilt out from blow-by went straight onto the K&N, and got sucked into the turbo.... Result: Oily Turbo intake tract, oily intercooler piping (inside), oil intercooler (inside) and probably damaged air filter.....

This also goes without saying that the valve cover should NOT be connected directly to the air filter. This setup exists on the stock airbox due to EMISSIONS. Well now that you are turbo, who cares about that anyway.

So the bottom, line is, GET a "catch-can with breather gimmic" if possible. If anyone can reccomend a good one, then please do, I am also in need of one.

Lastly, do not use an aftermarket fuel filter as a breather. They DO look cool, but, I honestly believe that they flow less air than even the worst breather. Also, mine backed up with oil and due to the extreme pressure under my valve cover, I blew out both cam-shaft seals...... End result? All the oil poured out of the engine within minutes and got all over the Timing belt region...

So is a catch can a must have thing then? I will only be pushing 5 psi on my stage 1. Will that be enough to need this catch can/breather? I would much rather be safe than sorry.

i got my catch can from summit for 30 bucks. its much bigger than the rre one tho, and depending on how much room there is after i instll the turbo, i may need to relocate it or something
