i am havin someone help this weekend install my kit. would it be ok to install the fuel pump and fpr and then drive it 20 mins back to my house and install the rest of the kit? would this hurt the engine since it is a boost dependant regular?

You'll be fine. There should be absolutely no difference.

Yea man I drove around for like 4 months with my fuel setup done...your car will see NO boost so it won't rise the pressure :)

I actually recommend that people install their kits this way. When I installed Ryan's kit, I wanted to split up the install in a couple of days, during a two weekend period. I did the fuel system one day, and then came back the next weekend and did the rest.

I was wondering this as well. I have another question tho. As I only have the walbro 255lph fuel pump. Would it be safe to install just that without having bought any of the other parts yet(i.e. sfmu or missing link)? Thanks for the info.

yeah, the pump won't raise the pressure its just there if you need it now.

It won't raise the pressure at the injectors. It will raise the pressure before the regulator, but that doesn't really matter. Just wanted to clarify.
