hey guys, ive been contemplating a 20g/16g hybrid build up. let me know if any of you guys have done this, im prolly gonna be send it off to hrc, what yall think spool up and boost will be like.. also why dont some of the stage 2-3 guys ever coonsidered going to a 18g? thanks peoples

the tdo5H 16G and the tdo5H 20g both use the "tdo5H" (hot side wheel) to begin with. the 20G is originally a compressor that is mated with a tdo6 wheel. doing what you have suggested has proven to be a good idea for the past 15 years or so.

Armond is trying to tell you that the 20G's that people use already are actually hybrids. A true 20G comes in a TD06 housing where as the ones DSM's use are in a TD05 housing which is what you buy across the counter.
