did you all notice a jump in your everyday driving EGT's after you rebuilt with the lower compression? i didnt notice it with my JE's, but now with the 10.5 Wisecos my "normal" driving EGT, like highway, 65mph and lower, is like 100 degrees cooler than it was with the JE's. just wondering if im the only one with that difference.

My egt's droped an average of 50-100 deg F when I went to the JE 8.6:1 pistons from the stock ones.

Hey Matt, didn't you also go 2.2L or did you stay 2.0?

I stayed with the 2.0.

After the rebuild, I also noticed a slight drop in EGT temp when cruising. I'm really not sure what contributed to this, except, the lower compression JE's.

I just notice that with proper tuning, your egt will definitely stay at a considerable temp at cruising speeds.
