Would this manifold work? I don't think it would considering no one on here uses anything like this. Just saw it and wanted to ask.

mmm might work with some custom mounting adapter from manifold to turbo flange, its a stock manifold and the first turbo'd 420a guys used to use that for the manifold, its possible with the right adapter plate

i also don't see a wastgate flange, so you'd have to use an internal wastegate turbo.... Looks cool, but when i finally go turbo, i want to be able to crack my hood and have everyone know i'm turbo.... BWAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

lol... that thing looks kinda ghetto, but it looks like it would bolt up pretty nicely. don't know how one would go about hiding a 16g or a t3/t4 under that thing, people would ask "what is under that insanely large shoebox sized heat sheild?" just my $.02. it seems like a very original and cool idea though, using the stock n/a manifold and modifing it for a turbo. it seems kinda overpriced for just grinding down some stuff and welding a plate on...

Would this style of manifold be any good in performance? It seems cheap as hell to make one but would you want to port it out to make the runners larger? Our manifolds are supposedly cast iron and I know that most 4G6 guys never deviate from their stock manifolds cause the cast iron holds up best to heat and cracking. I wonder if it would flow well.

The position of the turbo with a setup like this is not the best
That's a deluxe version of Wheatking backyard turbo setup on his Sebring with a 14B that was bolted at the end of the stock manifold

The turbo fitted with the A/C compressor out and the passenger side radiator fan out
And in a Sebring there's more space between the engine and radiator than the Eclipse

Now maybe a T-25 from a GST could fit better
the flange is obliously for a mitsu type turbo

If you want to try it don't bother buying that one
Find a perfect manifold and ask a welder to weld a turbo flange on the downpipe flange and not instead of the downpipe flange
it will be stronger that way
