3374, HRC Manifold ? Posted by Lee, Apr-02-01 05:45 AM Hey guys, first question is can I polish or powdercoat the manifold? Second question is if I can polish the manifold can I use a dremel and do it myself? Also does anybody know where I can get another stud - the one's that mount the turbo to the manifold? | |

3375, RE: HRC Manifold ? Posted by fly1, Apr-02-01 12:22 PM If you're going to paint the manifold or something, I wouldn't recommend it. I polished mine to a mirror before installing the turbo kit and, about two months later the manifold looks worse than before. Either leave it alone or send it out to have it coated to reduce heat dissipation. I can't think of the name of the company though. It's "Cool" something. | |

I got my Turbine housing, downpipe, and manifold all HPC coated for $145... then I even got the compressor housing polished to near chrome for another $45 through a local shop here in San Antonio... Shop around and maybe you can get a good deal... | |
