Howell carries a 160 degree thermostat, it's a motorad one. Armond uses it on his. I have one on my NA I put in after the cams. Works well for me, and Armond doesn't have any problems that I know of. I think there are a few others floating around too.

The stock temp thermostat is 190 or 195 i believe. From what I have been told by Gary Howell, the engine will run normally when the water temp passes 150 degrees, hence the 160 deg thermostat.

It is still fairly warm, but not like when you have a 190 deg thermostat. I live in Michigan and I deal with it alright, so I imagine it will be ok for you :)

Howell actually doesn't have it under the EClipse/Talon section. It's under the Neon section. But it works, just remove the rubber gasket on the thermostat and buy a gasket for ours and you are ready to go.
