I just purchased a turbo kit and I'm really interested in what everybody is running in the 1/4 mile. This is an open ended inquiry. Please list your 1/4 mile time and trap speed along with all the modifications (with brands) that helped you acheive that mind blowing number! Don't be bashful! If your running a 15 second time with a hrc stage 5 kit, post it and then describe the problems that you had. Im asking this question to everyone because I want know what modifications actually work. Remeber, be specific because I'm sure a lot of people are interested and they probably will follow in your footsteps.

Ya, the TT measures 1/4 and 11 other measurements!! It's SWEET!! It also does a bunch of other stuff too!! No more paying $15 dollars eveytime I wanna check my 1/4 time!! Well, as soon as Wyatt gets it to me:-)

OK, I've been to the track once with my turbo kit.....I have the Star Stage II kit, T3-T04E Ball Bearing Turbo, FMIC, JE Piston's, Crower Rods, ARP Head Bolts, AFX Solid Motor Mount, AFX Bored Throttle Body, and AFX Underdrive Pulley, Vortech Super FMU, Blitz BOV, RC 440cc fuel injectors (currently), Clutchmasters Stage 4 Clutch, Apexi AFC and AVC-R....My best time was at 13.9 @ 106.6MPH @ 15psi...My best HKS Turbo Timer Type 1 (Sorta a G-Tech) was a (13.4 @ around 105mph @ 12.5psi)...my injectors are not big enough :( I have to run 12.5 psi on the street because my EGT gets to hot at any higher boost...550's soon :) Oh and 99GSBBTurbo I love my HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer! 0-60 in 4.8 seconds

I can tell in your picture, you need a camber correction kit real bad in the rear. You must be having cornering and handling instability. Trust me.. if you haven't done it.. it will be your most worthwhile upgrade. Might even save your life. *knockin on wood.

I was charged 8 hours labor @ $50 dollars an hour = $400 to bore, and install the rods and pistons.....RAIZIN: who were you directing the camber kit twords? me?

OK It's Official my website is being launched today or tommorrow. It has on it TONS of info, some funny things and LOADS of links. FYI I bought the bumper because I screwed up my factory one beyond painting so I decide to upgrade and I do have perfomance stuff on my car(and I'm putting more on as my budget allows) and you would know that if your dumb a$$ would've checked my website. Just because I don't have a $2,500 to drop into a turbo system(because I live in a real world enviroment where I pay my bills and mommy and daddy don't pay for $h!t) doesn't mean I'm about rice. Okay, street races in Mira Mesa California... I'm in the line up and in my side view mirror I see a group of guys walking up from behind harrassing everyone they pass by ..poking at everyone's car and trying to rouse up a fight. They get to my car which stood out from the rest.. so they stop. (group of asians).. they poke their head in my car and tell me to get out. I said hell naw.. then they tell me to repeat their gang name "say so and so". I just say pshh.. next thing you know one of them is spilling their beer inside my car onto my lap. And me being with a beast of a temper attempts to open my door and step out and start swinging. But guess what.. I get stopped in my tracks with a gun in my ear. They told me to kneel or they'd shoot. F*ck it.. I kneeled. They walked away talkin they're shit about my me and my crew.. I was solo that night. But anyway.. I've been shot twice when I was sixteen years old. I don't need this type of drama cuz I have a two year old little girl to look after. So for whatever personal reasons I may have had at the time.. I decided to put the .380 under my seat. And yes.. I did realize that it would not solve anything. hmm.. is it my imagination.. or did ghost speed racer have a gun? oh well.. i'ma dork.. hahaha

I do not have time to read throught his entire thread as half of it now looks like crap anyway so I do not know where it came offline, but I do not care either. I would hate to have to just delete the whole thing since it seems like it started out with legit and useful questions, so how about we all just chill??

Oh, and for the record, at the time of my last run, Stage II stock internals 10psi - fromt he top of my head - 60' was about 2.4 and I ran 14.5@97mph. This was pathetic on my part as I could not launch my car very well. I am working on that though, but unfortunately have no new times to post even though this was back in 99. I have not spent time at the drag stip, just on the streets, and with my current situations that has become difficult too. It is temporary though and I hope I can report MUCH improved times this summer when I have more time to hit the track.
